Hey, Big news since the article got published: Adobe have just released a beta version of their SVG Viewer v3.0. It is a plug-in to Mozilla 0.9.1 and up, and installs fine as long as you have glibc 2.2 installed on your system. Grab it on Adobe's website at http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/old.html and don't forget to send bug reports to encourage Adobe in their UNIX developments.
