Hi, nice article. But, always I try to combine my xml file with the xsl that uses the attributes, no attribute text is shown. I tried with your sample file but had no luck. Anyone know why?

  As a beginner im trying to get a xml file with different lessons in it to be displayed with an xsl stylesheet. the case is that a menu powered by a seperate xml file will call the correct lesson from the lesson file, and not all the lessons (only ones with a specific id attribute).

  
  Whats the easiest way of doing this?

  Which sample, and which XSLT processor did you use? I recommend Xalan and Saxon. It often seems like most of the time that people don't get the results that they wanted, they were using Microsoft's.
