Document Object Model (DOM) Level 3 XPath Specification

Working Draft

Date: Oct. 31, 2001

Source Author or Organization: W3C

This specification defines the Document Object Model Level 3 XPath. It provides simple functionalities to access a DOM tree using XPath 1.0 and builds on top of the Document Object Model Level 3 Core.

This document is a notable development because it is an attempt to provide a method of unifying the DOM and XPath XML data models, which are often inconsistent with each other.
